2022 Leaf Metal Draft Football is the all-autograph release it has been for years. However, instead of just including picks from this year, it adds current college players as well who aim to be taken in the future.

Once again, there are two configurations. Standard hobby boxes have five autographs. Jumbo boxes have nine plus an exclusive one-of-one slabbed Pre-Production Proof Autograph.

2022 Leaf Metal Draft Football Checklist Overview

The bulk of the product’s cards are Base Autographs. 2022 picks and highly regarded potential future draftees make up the checklist. As always, there’s not only lots of color, but multiple background patterns as well. The result is a large rainbow but small print runs throughout for individual cards.

Beyond this, there are a handful of thematic inserts. Familiar names from Leaf Metal’s past include Armed and Dangerous, Tenacious D, Touchdown Kings and State Pride, which incorporate flags into their design.

Collectors will also find Award Winners and license plate-inspired Draft Bound autographs.

Like Base Autographs, parallels are plentiful with these as well.
